Dundas Chart for SQL Server Reporting Services Version 3.1 Released May 26th, 2009
Scorecard Chart Type
Dundas Chart's broad flexibility has allowed us to build an entirely new data visualization control: the Dundas Scorecard extension. Now you can create a balanced scorecard with bullet graphs, track inventory in a detailed grid, plus use this chart type side by side with the many other Dundas chart types. And there's more. In fact, the multifunctional scorecard control helps you create complex grid-based data visualizations with progress bars, spark lines/columns/areas (and more) fully integrated
Pie Plus Charts
Want to dramatically improve the look of your pie charts? Building on the ability to create custom chart types, Dundas has created a new kind of pie chart that gives you far more visualization versatility. While all your favorite elements and drawing styles are maintained, the new Pie Plus chart type gives you seven fresh additional drawing styles.
Contour Custom Chart Type
Need to render elevation or contours for your data visualization? The Contour chart type lets you convert any series into a contour map.
Tree Map Custom Chart Type
Another chart type requested by Dundas customers, the innovative Tree Map custom chart type shows any two metrics at once, using both size and color. Think of it as a "heat map of a heat map" - it's great for things like stock indexes or tracking the status of your favorite sports teams.
Wafer Custom Chart Type
This new custom chart type (also known as a wafer map) is part of v3.1 of Dundas Chart for Reporting Services.
Timeline Charts
Looking for a way to view event data in the form of a timeline? Dundas Chart for Reporting Services v3.1 gives you the ability to do this. .

Custom Chart Types
How do you place a unique chart into a data visualization application when that chart type doesn't yet exist? With its "custom chart type feature," Dundas provides the answer! Version 2.3/3.0 of Dundas Chart for Reporting Services gives developers the power to create entirely new chart types and use them just like any of the charts we've created. Check out our custom charts: Column Plus, Heat Map, Sparkline and Waterfall. Now, no matter what type of new visualizations appear in the future, Dundas can always support you.
Enhanced Templates Now Support Code Script
With the new release, any code you use in the Code Editor can be saved in a template. So if you write some code that you want to use in multiple reports, just create a template and go from there. Save time and code!
Expression Editor Buttons Added
Version 3.0 boasts new expression editor buttons added to many new chart properties - allowing many properties to support expressions for the first time - and making expression editing easier in properties that were previously missing the button. This allows even more dynamic reports than ever before.
