Parameters

dataCubeId Guid: The data cube ID.
indexInfo IndexInfo: The index to add. Each of its columns must reference an existing element by unique name.

Return Value

IndexInfo
The effective index, including its Id - the newly added index, or the pre-existing one when an index with identical ordered columns and directions already exists (adding an identical index is a no-op, so redundant duplicates never accumulate).

Exceptions

Exception	Condition
ArgumentNullException	indexInfo is .
ArgumentException	dataCubeId is Empty or indexInfo has fewer than two columns.
NoPrivilegeException	Caller does not have access to the specified data cube.
InvalidSessionException	The caller context is not associated with a valid session.
NotFoundException	The data cube does not exist, or a referenced element could not be found.
