Parameters

other IndexInfo: The index to compare against.

Return Value

Boolean
if both indexes reference the same elements in the same order with the same sort directions; otherwise, . Two indexes over the same elements in a different order, or with different sort directions, are considered distinct.

Remarks

Order and direction are significant: [A ASC, B DESC] equals only [A ASC, B DESC], not [B DESC, A ASC] nor [A ASC, B ASC]. This mirrors how the database treats indexes — the leading column and per-column direction determine which queries an index can serve.
