1. Overview
Dundas BI is now Simba Custom Analytics. When you deploy or upgrade to version 26.3, users logging in will see the new name by default, but your content, deployment setup, API calls, and extensions will work like before.
Below is a list of other highlights from the new features and enhancements available in version 26.3 of Simba Custom Analytics.

2. Data Preparation and Analysis
- Access detailed data cube storage information including start and end times and numbers of rows when using warehouse or in-memory storage
- Filtered data is indicated in the Data Analysis Panel by filled icons
3. Design and View
- Set up filter, filter interaction, and parameter connections more easily, including the option to filter by any underlying data
- When you make a change to a metric set that requires checking it out, a prompt will offer to do so automatically
4. Data Visualizations
- Add your own custom symbols to use in state indicators just like the built-in ones
- Data point labels on line charts can now display more consistently by moving along the adjacent line when needed
5. General / Application
- You can access the Explore window before checking out the current file, and Data Preview before checking out a data cube
- The corresponding file type and folder are selected for you automatically when returning from a file to the Data, Business, or Views page
6. Administration
- IdP (identity provider) initiated login can be enabled for federated authentication using the SAML 2.0 protocol, including for providers such as Okta
7. API / Branding / Integration
- A new ShutdownToken property is available on the Dundas BI Engine in the .NET API, which is cancelled when engine shutdown starts
